Self-Made from Day One

Life has thrown me a lot of curve balls. But every single time, I have gotten back up and kept moving forward. That is the one thing that has never changed about me.

I earned my high school diploma through a HiSET program in Tennessee. No traditional path, no four-year degree. Everything I know, I taught myself or learned on the job. I believe that your credentials show what you studied, but your results show who you are.

My first real professional chapter was in Colorado Springs, where I worked at Best Buy as a Computer Sales Specialist and later became a Sony Brand Ambassador. I represented Sony products, ran technical demonstrations, and increased my personal sales metrics by 15% month over month. That role taught me how to communicate complex technology to real people in a way that actually makes sense to them.

From there I moved into telecommunications at T-Mobile, providing advanced network technical support. I ranked in the top 8% company-wide and was #1 out of 12 team members in my performance metrics. I worked with everything from cellular tower configurations to LAN/WAN diagnostics, DNS, DHCP, fiber optic infrastructure, and coaxial cable systems. That technical foundation still informs every conversation I have with business owners about their connectivity needs.

All 50 States Behind the Wheel

In 2018, I made a decision that changed my perspective on everything. I became a sole proprietor, bought my own equipment, and started working as an oversize load pilot car steersman. For over three and a half years, I hauled oversize loads and steered wind turbine components across the country.

I have been to all 50 states. I worked in the winter mountains near the Canadian border where the wind chill makes your hands numb through your gloves. I worked in the hot Texas sun out in Big Lake, Texas, helping put up what was at the time the largest wind farm in the area with over 500 towers. That was a long project, and the sand tornadoes out there are something you do not forget.

One time in North Dakota, I pulled over to take a break and spotted a tornado way off in the distance. It looked like it was just standing still on the horizon. Five seconds later it was right on top of us. That was equal parts terrifying and exhilarating, and it is exactly the kind of thing that becomes a good story when you make it out the other side.

I did my own mechanical repairs on trailers and generators, installed low-voltage electrical systems, ran amber light wiring, and maintained every compliance log myself. I have a clean driving record with zero hits. In this industry, that is not common and it is not luck. It is discipline.

That time on the road showed me every kind of community America has. Small towns where the nearest gas station is 80 miles away. Big cities where you are navigating a 200-foot load through downtown traffic at 3 in the morning. And when I drove through Wichita Falls, Texas, something about this place felt right. The people are genuine. The community supports its own. I decided this is where I wanted to put down roots.

Coming Home to Wichita Falls

After settling in Wichita Falls, I joined Charter Communications (Spectrum). I started as a Sales Specialist and was promoted to Assistant Store Manager at the location on Kemp Boulevard.

At Spectrum, I led a team of sales specialists and we consistently ranked in the top 100 nationally. I was the technical escalation point for the store, diagnosing and repairing networking equipment, modems, and routers. I trained the staff. I managed inventory. And most importantly, I got to know the people of Wichita Falls face to face, learning firsthand what businesses and families in this community deal with when it comes to their internet and phone service.

I am grateful for my time at Spectrum and the team I worked with there. When the opportunity came to join Metronet as a Business Account Executive, it was the right move for my career and gave me the chance to serve local businesses in a more direct and meaningful way.

"Natthawut is highly dependable, thoughtful in his approach, and never shies away from accountability or hard work. Any company would be incredibly lucky to have him on their team, as he not only delivers results but also builds strong, motivated teams along the way."

Alexander Santos, Market Manager at Spectrum

Today I am a Business Account Executive at Metronet, and this role brings together everything I have built over the past decade. The technical knowledge from T-Mobile and Best Buy. The self-discipline from running my own business on the road. The community relationships from my time at Spectrum. And a genuine desire to help the businesses in this town get what they actually need, not what looks best on a sales report.

Beyond Business

I live a simple life in Wichita Falls with my wife. When I am not working with local businesses, I make music. My style is classical and jazz-inspired, think Frank Sinatra. All of my music is 100% clean, family-friendly, original content. It is available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok, and every major platform.

I am also active in the local business community. I attend Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce events, and I show up not just to network but because I genuinely enjoy being part of what this community is building. My company, Metronet, is a Chamber member, and supporting local is not just a talking point for me, it is how I live.

I hold my CompTIA A+ Core 1 certification and my OSHA 10 Construction Safety certification, along with my Pilot Car Certification and TWIC card from my years on the road. I believe you should never stop learning, and I carry that mindset into everything I do.

I have lived in Colorado, Tennessee, Florida, Oklahoma, and Texas. I have seen what this country has to offer. And I am here in Wichita Falls because I chose to be. This is my home.
